Richard Crookes

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Crookes is managing partner of Lionhead Resources (LHR) and chairman of the Investment Committee. He has more than 35 years of global resource industry experience across a diverse range of projects, geographies and commodities as both an operator and investor.

Prior to LHR, Mr Crookes was the Chief Geologist then Mining Manager of Ernest Henry Mining in Australia, an Executive Director of Macquarie’s Metals & Energy Capital division and, most recently, a senior Investment Partner at another mining private equity fund.

He is Chairman of Black Rock Mining (ASX:BKT) and a non-executive Director of Lithium Power International (ASX:LPI).

Mr Crookes holds a BSc in Geology and a Grad Dip in Applied Finance and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and a member of AICD.

Lisa Riley

Managing Director & CEO

Ms Riley has 30 years of experience in global capital markets, finance, mining advisory and government relations in Canada and Latin America.

She has extensive experience advising companies on improving stakeholder relations and incorporating ESG focuses in real and measurable ways, and is also fluent in three languages.

Ms Riley serves as the Non-Executive Lead Director of Star Diamond Corp (TSX: DIAM), chairing its audit committee and is a member of its corporate governance, compensation and nomination committee. She is also a Director of GFG Resources Inc (TSX-V: GFG), and is a member of GFG’s corporate governance/compensation and audit committees. She was Chair of Tribeca Resources’ (TSX-V: TRBC) Board and a member of its corporate governance/compensation and audit committees from its listing until Dec. 2023. Previously, she was Lead Director of Scorpio Mining Corp (TSX: SPM), which became Americas Gold and Silver (TSX: USA), and chaired its audit committee. She was also a director of Scorpio Gold (TSXV: SGN).

Paul Quirk

Non-Executive Director

Mr Quirk is a partner at Lionhead Resources and is responsible for originating new investment opportunities and building and maintaining investor relations. Mr Quirk has had a successful career as a private equity investor, with more than 15 years of private equity and operational experience in mining and other industries.

Before LHR, Mr Quirk co-founded Lionhead Capital Partners, a multi-strategy principal investment firm focused on mining, real estate and private equity investing. He was one of the founding partners of Cora Gold, a gold exploration and development company operating in Mali. He has deep experience in mining operations and has been actively involved in exploration, mineral resources development, project finance and project management.

Mr Quirk has held various senior positions in a broad range of industries, including finance, mining and logistics industry, starting Fortis Logistique in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo. A key part of his career has been identifying and evaluating resource opportunities around the world – while leveraging a large global network.

He holds a B.Comm from the Northeastern University in Accounting and Finance.

Michael Brook

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Brook is a mining professional with diversified hands-on global mining industry experience underpinning a subsequent career path as a stockbroking resources analyst and then roles in Mining Investment. In these roles, Mr Brook has driven the technical and commercial review of projects and companies across multiple jurisdictions and commodities and from early exploration through to production.

Mr Brook is currently a non-executive director of Geopacific Resources Limited (ASX:GPR), Principal – Mining for African Investments Limited (Private) and Chair of TuNya Resources (Private).

He graduated with a BSc.(Hon.) Mining Geology from the University of Wales (Cardiff) and is a member of AusIMM.

Louisa Martino

Company Secretary

Ms Martino has provided company secretarial and accounting services for nearly 10 years to a number of listed entities. Previously she worked for a corporate finance company, assisting with company compliance (ASIC and ASX) and capital raisings.

She also has experience working for a government organisation in its Business Development division where she performed reviews of business opportunities and prepared business case analysis for those seeking Government funding.

Prior to that, Ms Martino worked for a major accounting firm in Perth, London and Sydney where she provided corporate advisory services and performed due diligence reviews.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
